A new Hotel in Tacoma, WA is looking for an experienced and proven sales leader to reposition and grow this world class hotel. Completed in early 2008, the $25M renovation and repositioning of this property makes it a cultural destination as well as the anchor of Tacoma’s hospitality community, through it’s modern design, exceptional glass art collection and upscale service standards. The property is looking for a seasoned leader ready to maximize the asset and lead the sales, catering and revenue management teams to a new level of production and motivation.

Minimum Qualifications:

 Exceptional Leadership and Customer Relations Skills. Must be Able to Lead a Large Sales, Catering and Revenue Management Team through Daily Focus on Driving Revenue through All Channels. Highly Organized With the Ability to Manage Multiple Revenue Generation, Personnel, and Systems Management Issues Consistently and In Line With Company Standards and Practices. A Thorough Knowledge of All Sales Market Segments and The Catering/Convention Services Needs of a Larger Convention Hotel a Must. A High Level of Computer Literacy and Experience With Many Sales and Channel Management Systems..Attention To DetailTime Management / OrganizationMinimum 2-4 Years of Formal Training or On The Job TrainingMinimum 3-6 Years of Hotel Sales ExperienceMinimum 3 Years Experience Supervisory/ManagementHoned Communication Skills (Written And Verbal)Advanced Math Skills (Algebra, Geometry, Formulas)Forecasting, Budgeting, and Cost Control SkillsExperience in Selling Catering and Convention Center Products and Services as well as Hotel Amenities

 

Salary And Hours:

 Salary Ranges From $65,000 - $95,000 Plus Bonus/Commission DOE/DOQHours are Flexible and Changeable Based Upon Need
