The Carriage House Company Divisional Project Manager will interact and support a variety of departments including Product Supply, Sales, Marketing and Finance for all Carriage House locations. The Divisional Project Manager will play in key role in the development and implementation of key business initiatives to support the goals of the company. Position to be located at Fredonia, NY or Buckner, KY. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Develop, maintain and manage the divisional capital budget and 3-year plan through close interaction with the Plant Engineers at the manufacturing locations. Monitor project submittals and installation schedules to assure compliance with goals. Coordinate synergies (processing, packaging, procedures, best practices, etc.) to maintain the highest level of quality and consistency among the manufacturing locations. Develops and leads key divisional projects and initiatives. Provide technical support and solutions to the manufacturing plants. To collaborate with the Plant Operations Managers to ensure that consistent and efficient manufacturing standards are maintained in the areas of yields, line efficiencies, throughput and cost per pound to meet established goals. Manage the overall Divisional physical assets. Actively participates on key business teams to optimize the manufacturing network maximizing customer service levels and profit while maintaining high quality products. Develops short and long term solutions to support the business needs and growth of the company. Works with the plants and other support groups to develop assessments and practical solutions on new business opportunities and customer driven initiatives. Support re-engineering efforts in the area of cost improvement, new technology and special project implementation. Support cost reduction and continuous improvement programs at all of the manufacturing locations.Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Minimum of 10 years of directly related manufacturing experience in the Food Industry. Complete understanding of food processing and packaging systems. Extensive experience in Project Management. Capital estimating skills. Strong leadership and analytical skills. Excellent verbal and written communications skills. Practical experience in the use of spreadsheets, word processing and presentation development. Strong multi-tasking skills; ability to balance a dynamic and diverse project portfolio. Must be able to work independently and with multiple remote manufacturing sites. Regular travel to all CHC manufacturing sites. Estimated travel is 15 - 20%. Actively participate on the project teams for all CHC major capital projects.
