Electrical / Maintenance Engineer; Growing $4B Ingredient Co; Advancement opportunities

If you understand ELECTRICAL MAINTENANCE, have experience with POWER GENERATION & PROTECTIVE RELAYING, and you'd like to work for a stable, growing $4B Ingredient Company that recently built start-up a Power Plant to power their manufacturing facility, then we'd like to talk to you about the "Electrical/Maintenance/Utilities Engineer Project Coordinator" position.   In this position you'd be reporting to the Utilities Senior Department Manager and have responsibility for the electrical infrastructure within their Keokuk, IA facility, located in a nice rural community only 30 minutes from a Midwest City.  Responsibilities include: auditing and modifying High Voltage to Low Voltage protective relay schemes / develop & execute preventive electrical maintenance programs / qualifying personnel in operation of High and Medium Voltage switching as well as execution of Lock Out/Tag Out of equipment / planning and execution of capital projects to support future plant expansions as it relates to the impact to the electrical distribution within the Keokuk facility and development of training and SOP’s programs. We’re looking for someone who understands the concepts of reliability centered maintenance model, with a strong background in electrical maintenance that also has experience with power generation systems. Strong interpersonal skills are important for this position, as well as the ability to work directly with the production unit maintenance staff and outside contractors in such a manner as to move the proactive maintenance effort forward. Interaction with Purchasing, Maintenance, Planning, Human Resources, Finance, Reliability, Safety, and Engineering are part of the position, as well as staying abreast of new Technology relative to distribution and protective relaying equipment.  The following requirements and qualifications have been established for this position: BS in Electrical Engineering / Assoc. Degree in Technology / relative Military in associated field or ten years exp. working in an electrical maintenance department. Experience with Power Generation Systems Experience with Protective Relaying Certification or equivalent experience with Infrared Thermography and Motor Circuit Analysis predictive technologies Strong people-motivating skills with experience working effectively with various functional groups Demonstrates strong external and internal communication skills Demonstrate ability to manage plant wide troubleshooting/problem solving efforts Demonstrates proficiency using a windows based operating system and computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) Demonstrates ability to execute and/or manage projects effectively The following REQUIRED and PREFERRED requirements and qualifications have been established for this position:  BS in Electrical Engineering or 10 years prior electrical exp.; PREFERRED: BSEE or 10 yrs. Prior maintenance exp. in corn wet milling industry  Understanding of power generation systems; PREFERRED:  Prior maintenance exp. w/ power generation  Understanding of protective relaying; PREFERRED: prior protective relaying experience Exp. w/infrared and motor circuit analysis technologies; PREFERRED: Developed infrared and motor circuit analysis programs in a proactive a maintenance environment Good verbal & written communication skills; PREFERRED:  Outstanding verbal & written communication skills with prior technical writing skills    Fundamental understanding of proactive maintenance model; PREFERRED: Formal maintenance and reliability training  Prior management of projects; PREFERRED: Prior exp. developing project scope utilizing reliability centered design principles  ·Basic proficiency w/Windows based operating systems; PREFERRED: Demonstrated proficiency developing and using Excel macros, Access databases    ·Basic knowledge of a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Mgmt Sys): PREFERRED: 3+ years w/a CMMS as it pertains to the Assoc.
