Executive Sous Chef and Sous Chefs wanted for a high profile position in Washington, D.C.!



Founding Farmers, a restaurant celebrating authentic farm-to-table cuisine, is currently under construction in Washington DC and we have therefore begun our kitchen staffing search in earnest. We are seeking a strong Executive Sous Chef and Sous Chefs, comfortable working in a high pressure, fast-paced kitchen.



The idea for the restaurant was born in the Fall of 2006 with the opening of Agraria in DC's Georgetown neighborhood, the sister restaurant of Founding Farmers. Created by the National Farmers Union, the objective is to feature the freshest local produce, meats, and ingredients available to create a heightened awareness for fine dining patrons of what is available to them right in their backyard. 

Role description:The Executive Sous Chef will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef with all kitchen efforts including assuming the helm in the absence of the Executive Chef and overseeing all kitchen activities, quality control, and efficiency of the line.
