Field Service Technician

Basic Responsibility:

 

  Responsible for high and low acid aseptic filling and processing equipment, and capable of providing service to customers for repairs/maintenance of existing equipment, as well as training customers of correct operation of new equipment and providing any training needed on existing equipment. Must have knowledge and ability to plan equipment installations including pre-installation visits.

 

Specific Duties:

 

·  Effectively communicate to resolve any problems during installations or potential problems during pre-installation, as well as discussing/solving problems by phone when needed.

·  Job requires domestic and international travel.

·  Accurately report problems with equipment to Service Dept. and participate in resolving problems through the company.

·  Work with Research & Development as needed on developing new equipment as well as Sales/Service Departments to implement new equipment into standard product line.

·  Accurately prepare and submit service reports and expense reports in a timely manner to Service Department Administrative Assistant.

·  Work with Service Manager and Service Coordinator to coordinate activities within the department.
