Job ID: 457Position Description: George Weston Bakeries a 2.6 Billion dollar fresh baked goods business with such brands as Arnold, Boboli, Entenmann's, Freihofer's, Maier's, Stroehmann's, and Thomas' . GWB is an industry leading commercial bakery looking for a motivated self-starter to manage the capital programs process in a dynamic business environment. The position will coordinate the planning and approval process at the corporate level and be responsible for implementation of control procedures and reporting within the organization, in addition to interacting with all levels of management. In this role the right canidate would have the ability to summarize and present capital strategies to drive efficiency and performance. Strong candidates should be able to multi task and evaluate priorities with minimal guidance and have an understanding of fixed asset accounting or project management.*Manage reporting for GWB of capital expenditures and requirements as needed to functional managers, senior management and parent company HQ. *Coordinate the capital planning process with functional management. *Annual plan, quarterly forecasts and strategic 5 year planning. *Prepare and present capital updates to senior management in coordination with functional managers. *Internal senior management reviews, quarterly financial updates to parent company HQ and ad hoc requests. *Coordinate the approval of Capital Authorization For Expenditure. Includes reviewing, researching, updating and providing recommendations on projects. *Develop and maintain internal procedures and forms to meet documentation and control requirements from Internal Audit. *Coordinate the Post Audit Review (PAR) process for significant projects as required by the Audit Committee.* Implement local PAR process for significant expenditures below $1MM.Position Requirements:4 year degree Accounting/ Finance1-2 years of manufacturing or marketing exp2-3 years exp in financial presentations and analyis.Additional Information:Travel Percentage: 10%
