Financial and Operations Accountant

Responsible for general accounting, and preparation of financial statements, for two manufacturing divisions with $25 million annual sales.

 

§ Responsible for all general ledger transactions and interface with inventory, payables, and receivables sub ledgers.

 

§ Reconciles physical inventories and analyzes discrepancies.

 

§ Maintains bank reconciliations.

 

§ Maintains detailed schedules of accrued and prepaid expenses.

 

§ Assists Controller in overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable.

 

§ Maintains fixed asset register.

 

§ Interfaces with operations and marketing managers to analyze cost trends and variances from budgets.

 

Requires accounting degree, experience with enterprise accounting software, expertise in Excel, and proficient written and oral communication skills.  Affable personality a plus.
