Second Harvest is a food bank providing food to the hungry in eastern Wisconsin. Through our two distribution centers in Milwaukee and Omro, we distribute more than 13 million pounds of food a year to 1,100 pantries, meal programs and other nonprofit agencies. More than 235,000 people depend on food supplied by Second Harvest of Wisconsin. Second Harvest Food Bank was founded in 1982 by the Rotary Club of Milwaukee. Starting with our first donation of a bushel of apples, we have distributed more than 220 million pounds of food to the hungry in our state!

 

The Food Resource Manager position is located in Milwaukee, WI and is responsible for: Managing, overseeing and conducting the solicitation of all food and non-food product donations/purchases. Develop and maintain a comprehensive food solicitation program. Supervise, train and evaluate all employees within the Food Resources Department.

 

This position requires someone with: 5 years marketing/sales experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (Marketing or Business preferred).
