This position is with a major food company and could be located in either New Jersey or New York. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading product development projects and working with cross functional teams. Candidate will experience both formula and process related projects, and is expected to move these projects form concept through commercialization. Candidate will interface with Marketing, Operations, Product Development, Quality, and various internal and external production facilities. The candidate will resolve technical issues to strengthen product launches and drive product quality. Must possess strong project leadership and commercialization skills.

Required:

BS/MS in Food Science, Chemistry, or Engineering.

Travel up to 30%.

Minimum of 3 years in the food industry.

Minimum of 3 years in R&D, Product Development, or Operations.

Project Management Experience.

Process Development and Commercialization experience.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work on cross functional teams.
