Food Service Sales Representative

A premier seafood company is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated sales representative to build new and existing fresh and frozen seafood business with Spokane market food service accounts.  Preferred candidates will have previous food or seafood sales experience and contacts with restaurant accounts in the greater Spokane area and surrounding cities.

Qualified Candidates must possess: • Strong organizational skills. • Attention to detail. • A record of success in selling perishable product lines (meat, dairy, produce, bakery products, or other perishable food items) will be considered a plus. • Strong Customer Service skills. • Effective verbal and written skills. Other Requirements: • Meets or exceeds pre-established goals for gross margin and sales dollars. • Contacts customers daily to promote our products, and performs the services necessary to maintain customer satisfaction.  • Solicits new customers out in the trade and builds sales with existing customers.  • Relates information to management on customer needs and opportunities. • Communicates customer needs to the Seafood Buyer and production team.
