Food Technologist - Loyal, Accurate, Efficient, Long Term Opportunity

Responsible for ensuring that the Company produces a safe product of the highest quality and most consistent flavor possible through product testing and reporting. The successful candidate will have the ability to follow laboratory procedures accurately, report results precisely and follow up with Management when necessary. The ability to be flexible, have excellent
planning skills and work independently is essential.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:  Sensory evaluationBasic lab testing (training available) - Conduct comprehensive compositional testing, on raw or finished products, including weight checks, color checks, etc. and document resultsAssist in trouble-shooting quality problemsPerform qualitative/quantitative analysis of finished and in-process productsResponsible for maintaining QA lab reports through accurate input, database generation, and manipulation; interpret the data and report immediately any testing that is out of specificationsOther duties as assigned

Education Requirements: BS in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry preferred
