General Manager 1 - Food

Sodexo will provide daily food service for 40 residents at Presentation Convent in San Francisco seven days a week. The General Manager will oversee all food services and supervise hourly staff. Prior experience in a Senior Services or assisted living facility preferred. Responsibilities include managing all operating expenses to include food and labor costs. Strong front of the house presence and exceptional client relations skills also preferred. Some weekend and evening hours will be required. Position Summary: Manages all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and directly supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account. Basic Education Requirement: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required: 2 year(s) of lead/supervisory/management experience Basic Functional Experience Required: 2 year(s) You may substitute 1 additional year of experience for each year of education below the basic requirement above as long as you possess a high-school diploma or GED.
