Our client is a global gourmet and speciality food manufacturing company who is in need of a savvy gourmet sales specialist to cover Southern California, based out of a home office in the LA area.
Gourmet Sales Manager into Food Service, Bakery and Speciality Distributors.
Due to growth in the US market, we are seeking a dynamic individual contributor to focus selling into Foodservice / Broad line / Gourmet and Speciality Food Distributors and building up regional restaurant chain accounts within Southern California.
Job Description
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will:Create and implement go to market strategies, increase sales and profit and oversee assigned Foodservice / Broad line and Gourmet & Speciality distributors.Work closely with the National Account Managers regarding strategy and implementing sales objectives within Southern California.Expand and develop regional restaurant chain and bakery accounts.Combination of account management and developing new business. Operate as an individual contributor while working closely with the gourmet sales team based on the West Coast.
Requirements
You possess:Extensive working relations and sales experience with distributor/broker or direct sales environment with experience in gourmet foods.Solid track record in selling into foodservice is mandatory, managing brokers and distributors and client relationship management.Creativity, are execution driven with a focus on building client relations.Solid track record in negotiations and a proven deal closer.Working from a home office and open to extensive travel within your region.
