Haccp Team Leader

 

This position maintains the integrity of the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures) system records, reassessments, provides administrative assistance to management, facilitates HACCP and deviation meetings, documentation and training. Administrates and facilitates HACCP meetings.  Initiates and maintains training programs.

Position Responsibilities:

 Plan, execute and revise as necessary HACCP CCP Monitoring Certification training.Initiate annual training programs and maintain a database of employees trained.  Create a filing system for training records.Administrate and facilitate CCP deviation meetings and HACCP Team meetings Facilitate, schedule and participate in mock recallsMaintain a matrix of allergens used within the facility. Maintain a list of items with Certificate of Analysis. Maintain a current list of Letters of Guarantee.



 

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university that has been accredited by the Department of Education; or equivalent four years of current related food safety and administrative experience and/or training. 

Must be HACCP Certified or be willing to attend a HACCP course and maintain current HACCP/Regulatory skills

Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint (program database and spreadsheets, create presentations, etc.) to assist with micro data, training data, overtime summaries, Non-Compliance report summaries, corrective and Preventive action database, foreign object database, etc. Provide trend analysis and statistical reports of the obtained data.
