Lancaster Foods, the fastest-growing produce and floral distributor on the East Coast, currently has an opportunity for an HR Employment Specialist to help support its tremendous and consistent increases in business. If you’re confident that you can create a recruiting program the way you’ve always thought it SHOULD be done—plus you want to gain even more general HR experience -- this is an excellent opportunity for you!



The right candidate will want to organize and manage the whole recruitment process, including interviewing and recommending candidates for vacant positions; advise managers on recruitment and retention strategies; creatively utilize sources for a diverse candidate pool; coordinate all background checks; conduct new hire orientation; and respond to requests for HR information from field managers and employees. You’ll also assist in training, investigating employee relations issues, and other HR functions.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of previous non-exempt / exempt Recruiting or Staffing experience and will be able to develop recruiting SOP’s, policies, and job descriptions. College degree and previous HR generalist experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required; previous warehouse experience and Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus. This position reports to the HR Manager.
