Hotel Restaurant Manager
Our property is a brand property with three stars (working towards four stars). We are the premier and largest property in the region including meeting space. We have a total of 240 rooms with 38 being suites. Our restaurant is well know in the area and we have built a strong local and repeat clientele. We serve breakfast, lunch (including a pasta bar) and diner (white tablecloth). We are known for the quality of our steaks.
The Hotel Restaurant Manager will be responsible for marketing, sales, profitability, quality service and consistency for the restaurant, coffee outlet, and all A La Cart operations (including In Room Dining) to ensure guest satisfaction.
In addition to the above, he/she will also:
*Assist in building repeat guests.
*Ensure that the staff provides quality service by managing the staffing, training and daily operations of the restaurant and staff.
*Meet and exceed customer expectations with service and consistency.
*Manage controls: i.e. labor, supplies, P&L and budgets. Will achieve revenue and goals by developing and implementing strategies to increase revenue and control costs.
*Utilize leadership skills and motivation techniques to maximize employee productivity and satisfaction of direct reports comprising of 15-25 employees.
*Demonstrate a working knowledge of hotel safety and security procedures including maintaining a secure and safe environment for employees and guests.
Must have a minimum of 3-5 years current or recent experience as a Restaurant Manager in a brand hotel property.
Must have either an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business or Restaurant/Hospitality.
