Pilgrim's pride is seeking an IT Buy-it Manager for our IT department located in Pittsburg, Texas. This key manager will be responsible for providing and managing information technology applications in support of procurement functions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Identifying and implementing solutions to continually enhance procurement systems.
2. Managing project priorities, timelines and staff.
3. Providing specifications for technical enhancements.
4. Promoting team oriented relationship with IT customers and peers.
5. Providing reliable and timely interfaces with external procurement partners.
6. Documenting systems and processes - technical, process and training.
7. Mentoring, coaching and developing partners.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

- Must have at least 5 years experience with SAP (or comparable) procurement applications.
- SAP configuration experience desired, experience with SRM is desired.
- Solid experience with electronic commerce.
- Solid project leadership experience with multi-site implementations.
- Ability to listen, understand and facilitate process improvements.
- Excellent communication skills and relational skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong sense of urgency in relation to customer service.
- Able to work independently with minimal direction.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, traveling 25% of the time.
- Confidentiality is a must.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree in related field; 5-10 years related work experience preferred.
