GENCO has an immediate opening for an Inventory Control Supervisor with GENCO - Pinnacle Foods in Effingham IL. This is a 645,000 square foot food distribution center, operating 3 shifts with approximately 80 teammates.

The Inventory Control Supervisor is responsible for:
Maintaining the integrity of the inventory of the facility through cycle counts and various audits.Interfacing with the customer’s Inventory Control team.Training teammates and adhering to SOP’s, especially as it relates to maintaining inventory integrity.Insuring accurate and timely reporting including daily metrics and inventory reports.Working with the customer and Operations Manager on daily reconciliation of inventory records between D-Log and customers inventory management system.Supervising 3 to 5 hourly teammates.Insuring on-going compliance to GENCO’s Core Excellence Program especially as it relates to inventory control and systems.

Required Skills


The successful candidate will have:High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to analyze complex transactional processes.Previous experience with inventory control processes and systems.Demonstrates good leadership and interpersonal skills including relationship building with the customer.Uses creativity, problem solving skills, and analytical skills for challenges and opportunities.Experience/knowledge with D-Log or similar WMS Systems a plus. Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Power Point, and Excel.A degree in Business Management Logistics, Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience preferred.Effective communicator and demonstrates how to solicit others for ideas and create buy-in from teammates.
