Manager 2 - Facilities / Engineering

This Facilities Engineering position is in our Laundry Division and will be supervising hourly staff providing facilities maintenance and engineering services to client. Responsible for work force planning, QA training, and administrative functions of the designated area of supervision. Typically reports to GM. Requires some management experience in facilities/ engineering, as well as advanced technical expertise. May serve as a technical expert for the clients, requiring regular interaction concerning technical issues. The ability to speak Spanish would be helpful. This is a centralized laundry location on the VA Medical Campus. It currently processes 24 million pounds of laundry and services locations in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.~CB~ Position Summary: Supervises hourly staff providing facilities maintenance and engineering services to client. Basic Education Requirement: High School Diploma or GED Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required: 1 year of lead/supervisory/management experience Basic Functional Experience Required: 1 year work experience in facilities maintenance, plant operations or engineering services You may substitute 1 additional year of experience for each year of education below the basic requirement above as long as you possess a high-school diploma or GED.
