Manager 2 - Food Production

Sodexo is seeking for a food production manager for a 225 bed hospital in Mobile, AL area. The food production manager at this location will be responsible for the food production, quality assurance, receiving, ordering, and coordinating of the food production employees. Reporting the General Manager, the ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience in managing a food production area, receiving, and inventory of food supply. Health Care Experience is preferred but not required.~cb~ Position Summary: Plans, directs and coordinates the activities of food production employees. Responsible for the purchasing and receiving of food and supplies, as well as monitoring the inventory. Maintains food production records/cost indicators. Plans and costs menus. Basic Education Requirement: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required: 1 year of lead/supervisory/management experience Basic Functional Experience Required: 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc. You may substitute 1 additional year of experience for each year of education below the basic requirement above as long as you possess a high-school diploma or GED.
