Manager Continuous Improvement

Leads the planning and implementation of specialized practices for manufacturing processes. Coordinates with Platform ConAgra Performance System (CPS) Leader, Pillar Leaders and Plant Managers to execute implementation plans. Develops and maintains training and tracking standards. Coaches plant resources in implementation of improvement methodology. Trains and qualifies resources in use of the manufacturing processes. 7 years related experience.Position ResponsibilitiesThe CSD Regional Pillar functions as the center for knowledge transfer to the plant shop floor associates in that region. The CSD Regional Pillar Lead will insure the implementation of standardized processes in order to:Establish base operating skills for associates by using the CSD process to effectively and efficiently assimilate all new associates into the plant. Lead the change management process for their plants in order to introduce new skills effectively to the workforces across the region. Teach the plants in the region to create and maintain training curriculum and agendas for all associate positions. Help develop and react to metrics that will assist plant operations in prioritizing training and development needs as well as providing a means to insure that the programs remain intact over time. Maintain training materials and data as required. Provide standardized training for plant CSD Leaders resources such as trainers, mentors and auditors. Conduct internal systems audits as required Audit the CSD section of Plant Leadership Boards and maintain annual objectives for plant CSD leaders. Engage associates in the creation and maintenance of training material and other training aides.Position Qualifications Proven record of driving improvement & solving problems. Demonstrated experience in leading change & situational leadership Credibility with Supply Chain Senior leadership & plant managers Outstanding conceptual/process skills Clear ability to relate to and motivate people Excellent presentation, coaching & communication skills Prefer experience in FI, Six Sigma DMAIC or other root cause based problem solving processes.
