Manager Platform Warehousing

Manage high quality, cost effective distribution services for ConAgra Foods products through 3rd party logistics providers (3PL s). Develop, implement and manage all distribution requirements for ConAgra Foods dry business within a 3PL environment. Act as the liaison for the dry integrated mixing centers (IMC) and ConAgra Foods, manage daily operational issues, implement cost control measures, and perform audits so as to provide the required level of customer service and budgeted cost performance. Develop, implement, and manage budgeting and financial controls for multiple operations. Manage the involvement of the IMC s during quality events (holds, recalls, destroy product) in order to minimize ConAgra Foods exposure to risk. Drive continuous improvement through the implementation of operating efficiencies, policies and procedures, quality, and service.Position Responsibilities Develop and manage operational P&L for dry IMC s. Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPI s) and hold IMC s accountable to targets. Ensure IMC and 3PL compliance to ConAgra Foods' policies and maintenance to best practices. Provide effective service through the 3PL s; meeting the KPI for orders shipping in full, on time, and without damage. Ensure 3PL s have adequate processes in place to manage product rotation ensuring no over-aged product or product on quality restriction exits the building without proper approvals. Confirm existing public facilities in use are under contract and are compliant with CAG Warehouse Requirements Manual. Communicate across Corporate and Operating Groups all relative information pertaining to dry IMC s support of national programs (sales, holds, inventory, productivity, safety, sanitation, Sarbenes Oxley, and audits). Primary liaison between all network participants on assigned site activities. Special projects as required. Lead dry IMC commitment and execution of enterprise projects.Position Qualifications Bachelors Degree in related area, logistics or supply chain preferred. Previous supervisory experience. 5+ years previous warehousing experience, including experience managing third party relationships and managing multiple sites; direct management in 3PL environment a plus. Must possess experience and skills necessary to manage and influence cross-functional and third party reporting relationships and processes. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Project leadership skills. 5+ years experience using a warehouse management system. Solid knowledge of distribution operations and overall supply chain management.
