Manager - Safety and Health

Sodexo USA is searching for a Manager - Safety & Health. This position is responsible for the New Jersey and Philadelphia territory which accounts for over 600 units. The Manager - Safety and health is responsible for all Sodexo business lines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, training & presentation skills, regulatory safety programs, and the ability to get people engaged in the training. Other responsibilities include the design, re-design and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure that quality standards and key performance measures are met. Responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements; conducts and/or coordinates training, audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentation and develops and recommends various initiatives. Minimum of five years experience in aspects of Facility Management and Safety & Health training, business administration and customer service. Candidates with the above qualifications and possess a strong technical background are highly encouraged to apply. Position Summary:Manages the accident and fire prevention programs for an assigned geographic territory. Identifies unsafe conditions. Determines accident cause factors and facilitate appropriate remedial actions. Communicates accident prevention/fire prevention information to key management within assigned territory. Enforces compliance with company policy, federal, state, and local codes and standards involving the safety of employees and the public. Completes three safety audits per month.
