PRODUCTION SCHEDULER (Food Industry Only)
PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: You will be responsible for materials from order through to delivery, along with minimizing inventory and maximizing material availability. Other duties will include; providing accurate information in a timely manner and investigating and initiating process improvements to provide greater efficiencies in the supply chain.
Coordinate with customer service, transportation and manufacturing in scheduling production and shipping to meet forecasts for sales, inventory distribution and manufacturing costs.
Act as liaison with other company departments regarding changes, adjustments and special orders.
Ensure that customers receive products with adequate shelf life.
Responsible for reports to management covering areas of responsibility.
The Ideal candidate must have:
· SAP
· MRP or stock systems knowledge
· Production planning experience
· Material scheduling experience
· Strong communication skills
· Strong organizational skills
· A good understanding of the high speed packing
· Ability to cope under pressure
· Food Manufacturing experience
· Spanish is a Plus
