Production Manager – second shift

 

The Christie Cookie Company is a gourmet cookie and brownie manufacturer based in Nashville, TN.  We are seeking to hire a Production Manager for second shift (shift runs 4:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.).  This individual should have a minimum of five years experience in supervising food production.  This person should also be well versed with FDA regulations and AIB (American Institute of Baking) requirements.  The position will report to the Director of Operations.

 

Duties and Responsibilities include:

 

Management of shift personnel, including:  staffing, motivating, certifying, reviewing, and developing

Achieving shift production, quality, and safety goals

Consistently evaluate employee performance

Maintain superior sanitary conditions

Optimal management of raw materials

Insure only cookies of highest quality standards are produced and shipped

 

Skills/other requirements include:

 

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong presentation skills

Computer proficiency – Word, Excel

Basic understanding of mechanical systems
