Production Supervisor 2nd Shift

Crystal Springs Water in Kent, Washington is now taking applications from all qualified individuals for a position as Production Supervisor, 2nd Shift.  Crystal Springs is the local brand of DS Waters of America, a national bottled water corporation with over 5,000 employees.

 

This position is accountable for managing all warehousing and production associates and activities.  This position will ensure high quality standards with regards to producing & shipping and at the lowest achievable cost while protecting and maintaining company assets.

 

Responsibilities include:  

 

Safety – Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment through coaching and training opportunities, identification and correction of unsafe work environments

 

Quality – Responsible for quality of finished product across multiple departments

 

Cost per Unit – Responsible for maintaining budgeted cost per unit in multiple departments through management of staffing, overtime, efficiency, and continuous improvement

 

Production / Output – Responsible for meeting all production and project timelines through proper training of staff, identification and removal of barriers, and utilization of available resources.

 

Morale / Work Environment – Responsible for building effective and diverse teams.  Provides challenging tasks and assignments for the team. Blends people into teams when needed; creates strong morale and spirit in his/her team; shares wins and successes; fosters open dialogue; defines success in terms of the whole team; creates a feeling of inclusion in the team.

 DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

Effective communication including written and verbal skills.  Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle Software experience.  Degree in related field and IBWA Certified Plant Operator preferred.
