Project Manager (IS&T)

The LMS Project Manager will play a key role in the implementation, ongoing support and further integration of the LMS into related HR information and software systems. Key responsibilities will include working with the business community to gather user requirements and then translating those into technical requirements and communicating them to software systems vendors. This person will serve as the key person driving the learning management system from an IT perspective. This will involve developing a thorough understanding of the business need. It will also involve applying technical knowledge of LMS and HR related systems to be able to effectively communicate user requirements in a technical manner to the LMS vendor. This position will also play a role in the integration of the LMS with other HR systems pertaining to performance management, succession planning and payroll. The learning management system is an enterprise system that will be utilized company wide. The LMS Project Manager will be responsible for the review of IS & T contracts and ongoing support of applications/systems to ensure 24hrs/day and 7 days/week coverage. Requires technical project management skills and experience related to enterprise HR/Payroll system functions within a large organization. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to communicate user requirements to technical teams. The ideal candidate will have prior learning management system implementation and integration experience and prior experience with ADP or related HRIS. ~cb~ Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree Position Summary: Oversees a small project or phases of a larger project. Responsible for coordinating activities of project team, identifying appropriate resources needed, and developing schedules to ensure timely completion of project. Must be familiar with system's scope and project's objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member, to effectively coordinate the activities of the team.
