State Government Practice The Deloitte Consulting, LLP state government practice serves as a trusted advisor to several of the largest state government agencies in the U.S. Whether its technology integration, enterprise transformation, strategy and operations, human capital, outsourcing, attest, enterprise risk services or financial advisory services, Deloitte is uniquely qualified to tackle today's most pressing public sector challenges. Our market offerings include Finance and Administration, Health and Human Services, Law and Justice and Transportation. Human Capital/Organization and Change Our Human Capital professionals address thecritical elements of organizational effectiveness, including workforce planning and analytics, talent management, workforce strategies, the people dimension of transformation, and virtual workplace management. We also help improve key components of change leadership, including leadership development, technology and process adoption, learning and development, culture, knowledge management and capability transfer, and communications. Manager Candidates currently working with private industry and state and local governments in a variety of capacities will be considered. Managers must have 8+ years experience leading project teams of 10+ resources on relevant change management engagements. We are looking for a wide range of skills including experience with organizational redesign, communications, change management, training and implementation. B.S. or B.A. in Public Policy, Policy Analysis, Human Resources, Learning and Development and other disciplines considered. M.S. or MBA in Public Policy, Policy Administration or Policy Analysis is strongly preferred. · Development and execution of work plans, strategy documents, knowledge management materials and training documents in order to increase organizational effectiveness · Understanding of operations of government agencies and public policies specifically at the state and local level. · Understanding of the following business concepts is highly desired: strategic planning, reengineering, organizational change, training issues, IT infrastructure development and alignment, IS transformation and how they align with major public policy and legislative changes within state and local government agencies. · Experience facilitating requirements sessions. · Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. · Proven experience in team environments. · Willingness to work in a fast paced and collaborative environment. · Experience working with or for a large consulting firm is strongly preferred · Travel requiredAbout DeloitteDeloitte refers to one or more of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, a Swiss Verein, and its network of member firms, each of which is a legally separate and independent entity.
