QC Lab Technician

We are currently recruiting for a QA Technician for a Sidney, Ohio area client. The ideal candidates will possess at least a minimum of two years of laboratory, chemistry or microbiology experience within the food industry and a minimum of two years experience in a Quality Assurance/Control environment is desirable. The primary purpose of this role is to actively assist the QA department by carrying out the various job responsibilities assigned while providing continuous support. This is a contract to hire position working on 3rd shift. Target pay rate is 12.10/hr to start with an increase to $13.95/hr when hired full time.

Accountabilities:
• Complete specialized projects that require advanced computer skills, knowledge of quality systems and document control.
• Identify new or improved methodologies for routine and specialized laboratory analyses. 
• Implement, train and develop standards for reporting. 
• Correlate actionable and meaningful data to product quality.
• Audit systems compliance and facility compliance.
• Assist with training, implementation and execution of projects across the QA and operations teams.
• Foster a teamwork environment sharing personal expertise in strong areas to compliment the team.
