Quality Assurance Director

Results-oriented QA Director with a strong background in all aspects of food manufacturing needed for a food manufacturing facility in Vernon, CA.

Responsibilities will include:  Managing all aspects of the Quality Assurance program including  supervising Quality Assurance, managing and updating HACCP, allergen program, organic, microbiological testing program, etc. Responsible for handling and resolving customer complaints, developing raw material and finished product specifications, interacting with USDA and other regulatory agencies and personnel, training plant personnel in GMPs.

Qualifications:

BS degree in Food Science, microbiology or related field.  Experience in a USDA regulated facility.  3-5 years Quality Assurance management experience.
