Quality Assurance Technician

Established food manufacturing company seeks a laboratory technician for their Quality Assurance department.  Experience in a QA lab preferred.  Knowledge of computers and outside audits required.  We offer competitive salary and benefits. 

General Duties: Perform routinely required quality control tests, conduct pre-op inspections, daily GMP audits and monthly plant inspections. Maintain samples, package and ship samples as requested.Maintain and collect paperwork for outside audits, kosher certificates, MSDS and product specifications.  Perform weekly environmental swabs.  Clean and maintain the lab and all equipment in working order.  Some heavy lifting required (able to lift  50lbs).  Perform other reasonable tasks and responsibilities as directed by your immediate supervisor or management.
