This Quality Manager must thrive in a fast-paced department that has come a long way over the last 5 to 10 years.  A lot of hard work & goals have been fulfilled by the existing Quality team but there still remain plenty of challenges ahead in the future.  Driving “change” in a large complex manufacturing environment is not an easy task & takes a unique individual with the heart of a lion & the appetite of a bear in order to reach ultimate success.

 

The most important goal over the next 12 months for this department will be to continue building and improving, through continuous improvement, this plant’s Quality programs & quality initiatives and by doing so will play an essential role in further developing & stream-lining their regulatory /compliance initiatives as well increasing this plant’s already strong profitability.  We feel that in order to accomplish this task the ideal candidate will have:

 5+ years of Qa/Qc Management experience within a medium to large size Food & Beverage facility.  Prefer AIB & Union exp but n/n. Degreed, wiliness to move to Chicago, and your ability to move into bigger positions from there (to include corporate) will be considered a vital necessity in leading this high powered department & inter-cultural facility.  Technical skills ranging from HACCP and ISO to SPC’s, SOP’s are welcomed.The successful candidate should be one that has the ability to lead by example, have superb communication skills with subordinates, peers, as well as executives (on all levels) & finally possesses a “pro-active” mind set when establishing & implementing departmental goals.
