R&D Food Technologist

This opportunity blends together several phases of the food manufacturing industry. The R&D Technologist will have responsibilities in the areas of product development, ingredient evaluation, and quality assurance. This is an excellent opportunity to advance from QC or formulation duties to a role that involves many aspects of food production.The main responsibilities include:-prepare samples in laboratory-analyze samples (pH, NaCl, etc)-monitor production-keep inventory of new ingredients-prepare standard technical documents-inspect packaging-interact with suppliers-file and update documentsA four year degree (or higher) in Food science or related field is required along with 3+ years industry experience in food product development or quality assurance.
