Regional Sales Manager

Oregon Ice Cream is Oregon's premier manufacture of ice cream, sorbets, and yogurt desserts and is a Company based on strong ethics and values. Position Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for maintaining relationships with all distributor partners of Oregon Ice Cream in 4 western states. working to increase sales and distribution of the many items we manufacture and create every year in your territory. Call on key chain accounts, develop new business relationships in our fast paced growing business.
To follow up on leads from our distributor partners-generate new leads:
· You will be responsible for the ongoing training of 300 distributor sales staff of our food services partners on lead qualification for ice cream accounts.
· Follow up on the leads derived from the distributor partners sales staff from their customers who are coffee shops, ice cream shops, restaurants, company cafeterias, government facilities, resorts, and other food service customers.
· Generate leads from the same type of facilities that are currently with other competitive distributors or competitive companies. Qualify the accounts and recommend the dessert solution for their needs.
· Attend food shows targeted to this industry in Oregon, California, Idaho, Southern Washington region.
· Receive training from the Company in relation to ice cream manufacturing, attributes, quality groupings, and other products sold by the OIC.
· Maintain Leads in Company provided database on provided laptop.

EXPERIENCE
Qualified applicant will have a working knowledge of foodservice distribution and 3 to 5 years experience selling to the foodservice industry.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT
Applicant should expect 40% travel
EDUCATION High SChool Diploma or Equivalent. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Fluent in English.
SALES SKILLS
The ability to properly prospect, present, convey, design, recommend, and close leads that would utilize the Company's products.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages.
