Van Eerden Foodservice, a leading family-owned broadline food distributor, is committed to quality people and quality processes.  We are in our 88th year of business and currently seeking a Replenishment Buyer to join our growing team.

 

The incumbent will report to the Purchasing Manager and will be responsible for purchasing products from assigned vendors and maintaining adequate inventory stock levels while meeting appropriate inventory turns.  Additional duties include maintaining accurate costing, identifying slow moving items, reviewing aged inventory, resolving out-of-stock items, and reconciling purchase order variances.  The ideal candidate will have a college degree, excellent computer skills, and strong organizational and detail orientation skills.  Prior experience in the foodservice industry is preferred.
