Sales Planning Manager

Job ID: 688Position Description: Provides strategic analysis of sales activities for all accounts at all levels. Particular attention being given to business trends at brand and SKU levels. Provides consultation for the Director of Sales Planning & Marketing while leading and building quarterly business unit and customer presentations. This position takes the lead on all sales analytical programs, including Margin Minder, Data Warehouse, IRI and Apollo.Provide market, region and account level analytical leadership through the usage of all internal and external sales applications. Responsible for development of trade promotional strategies and tactics across all customers working with the Account Teams to ensure volume growth and profitability for the Business Unit.Collaborates with Director of Sales Planning & Marketing and the SE Leadership team in the development of Market level strategies.Leads, develops, and presents category management efforts as they relate to assigned customers.Leads and coaches Marketing Associate in the performance of their role.Position Requirements:• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, and/or related business experience• 3-5 years’ prior experience in sales management and operations• Prior work with a sales and/or marketing department a plus• Working knowledge of Margin Minder, PROMPT and AS400 systems.• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.Position Attributes:Competencies/Skills:oSuperior analytical abilities. oAbility to work independently managing multiple projects.oTeam leadership and successful coaching ability.
