RESPONSIBILITIES

 

LOCAL ~ FOREIGN ~ CORPORATE

 

· Creates strong partnerships with internal and external customers.

· Produces accurate financial reports within established timelines.

· Develops strong cost control/reporting and planning disciplines to assist engineering, manufacturing and inventory management to control manufacturing costs.

· Provides weekly and monthly variance analysis of key performance indicators for manufacturing.

· Controls Division Budget (~ $14M) and reports variances to management.

· Participates in the development of Company’s operating budgets for multiple locations.

· Responsible for accurate period-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures for multiple locations.

· Assists with compliance for all governmental and company regulations.

· Performs quarterly asset capitalizations, retirement transfers, construction in progress (CIP), and reconciliations to the general ledger and depreciation projections for multiple locations.

· Assigned special cost studies for other bakery locations.

· Observes the period-end and annual physical inventory counts of local bakery ensuring integrity of count(s). 

· Position will be located in Brea Corporate Offices and will spend considerable time in the Ontario Bakery location.



QUALIFICATIONS

 

§ BS/BA in Accounting

§ MBA and/or CPA/CMA, preferred

§ 7 – 10 Yrs. Progressive Cost/Controller Experience

§ 5 – 7 Yrs. Experience in Manufacturing Environment

§ Strong Leadership Skills
