Sales Force Effectiveness is a growing area within Deloitte Consulting's global Human Capitalpractice. It is focused on helping our clients transform their sales organizations by holistically aligning their field force strategies, programs, processes and infrastructure with their business strategies and objectives. As a Senior Manager, you will be expected to lead both the sales and delivery of Sales Force Effectiveness engagements. We are looking for consulting professionals who have: · A broad-based and business-oriented perspective on Sales issues · The ability to understand and communicate the linkages between the different topics within Sales Force Effectiveness · Experience interfacing with top management of global organizations · The ability to bring about impactful change in a client organization · Knowledge of with current trends in Sales Force Effectiveness · A deeply developed expertise in the design, development and implementation of at least one of the following: Direct Sales Force Strategy; Sales Organizational Development, Management and Rewards; Sales Business Processes; Sales Technology and Infrastructure. A familiarity with all areas is expected. · Developed expertise in the Financial Services, Health Care, High Tech, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, or Consumer Products fields · Experience leading and managing large complex engagements · Project management experience including: managing day-to-day client relationships and expectations, use of project management tools, delivery against project plans, prioritization of tasks, and risk management · Experience managing a combined client / consultant team · Experience conducting performance reviews and coaching staff · The ability to build relationships within the practice, as well as with other Deloitte Consulting practices · Demonstrable experience developing $1-2 million annually in new consulting business and/or securing opportunities for add-on work within established client relationships · Experience working with teams in the development of proposals and participating in client-facing sales presentations · Further developing an already established network of external contacts that can be leveraged in the sales process · The candidate should have 10+ years of consulting experience and/or corporate Sales Management experience, and at least a Masters degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA).
