Human Resources DepartmentSUMMARY:
Plans, coordinates, and directs quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards by performing the following duties personally or through interfacing with Quality Control staff and plant management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Laboratory Director for a mutli-state certified laboratory.
Develops product specifications to regulatory and customer standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
Formulates and maintains quality control objectives complementary to corporate policies and goals. Creates and implements HACCP,GMP and Food Security programs and inspection criteria and procedures.
Interprets quality control philosophy to key personnel in organization. Coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
Provides inspection activity for product throughout production cycle.
Works with vendors to insure quality of all purchased parts for company use.
Creates and directs environmental test functions.
Designs and implements quality control training and safety programs to key personnel .
Investigates and institutes corrective action for customer complaints regarding quality.
Directs Corporate Safety programs.
Initiates safety policies, training and testing throughout entire Company.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of this unit and laboratories.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or one to two years related
experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical Journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Maintain all bottling,source, and environmental permits for the Corporation.
