Vice President - Business Development

This position is responsible for selling large, complex national facilities contracts and for training existing sales team members in key knowledge and skills associated with selling facilities business. Must have a minimum of 5 years sales experience in large, complex, multi million dollar deals which involve facilities management services at multiple sites, involving multiple decision makers. Excellent interpersonal, presentation, communication, negotiation and training skills are required. Must also demonstrate a proven ability to negotiate with contacts at all levels of potential client organizations, and of Sodexo with a particular emphasis on the ability to successfully conduct "top to top" deals. This positions travels up to 90% of the time. Office location is flexible, but and east coast location is preferred. Position Summary: Develops and implements a business plan to support, grow, and retain business within a Division. Responsible for sales, retention, operations review, procurement, internal and external communications, training, and collaborative planning with corporate, Canada&Sodexho Alliance. Develops relationships with organizations in order to strengthen future sales potential. Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required: At least 1 year supervisory/managerial experience Basic Functional Experience Required: At least 6 years sales services or industry-related work experience You may substitute 1 additional year of experience for each year of education below the basic requirement above as long as you possess a high-school diploma or GED.
