Job Purpose:

 

Provide administrative on-site support (Navy – Pearl Harbor) –

 

 

Duties:Individual will be responsible for providing analytical and specialized administrative support and accomplishing complex details and advanced administrative duties.Individual shall be able to work independently in resolving problems and developing recommendations, execute special or continuous research and data analysis tasks.  Such task will include analysis of problems, compilation and analyses of data, and preparation of reports.Individual will coordinate activities between departments and outside parties, and will contact personnel at all organizational levels to gather information and prepare reports.  Assignments may be in various functional areas.Individual must possess the ability to read instructions and procurement policy and be able to maintain written recordsDuties will involve conducting market research for procurement of goods and services, locating sources of supplies and requesting quotes from vendors.Individual will assist in researching procurement status and assist in contract closeouts.

 

Skills/Qualifications:

 

Position requires a CONFIDENTIAL clearance – One (1) year minimum general office experience with knowledge of basic accounting (highly desired) – Six (6) month minimum experience in Microsoft Word and Excel – U.S. citizenship required – Procurement Defense Desktop (PD2) experience desired but not required – Reporting skills – Administrative writing skills – Organization – Phone skills – Listening skills
