Job Responsibilities: Responsible for processing all monthly telecommunication invoices & bills Responsible for performing quarterly reviews of all major billing accounts Assist with traffic studies, bill analysis, and other research; and recommend changes to maximize service to end-users and minimize costs, as appropriateReview vendor and subcontractor invoices to ensure accuracy and submit to accounting for payment Participate in the tracking, analysis and reporting on projects of varying contract type, size, and complexity Interface with Telecom Manager, Project Managers, Analysts, and Accounting Department to resolve contract, billing, or collections issues Manage internal audits of current and closed contracts Work with staff to create financial policies and procedures in support of projects Provide Billing Operations support and resolution of customer issues Provide user support for billing system enhancements Identify and implement improvements in monthly billing processes Prepare and analyze monthly Revenue and Billing reports Handle customer-billing inquiries by both telephone and e-mail Aid in the timely processing of vendor invoices Corporate Telecom billing point of contact for Branch Offices Perform other duties as assigned by management
Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in communications, communications accounting/billing or a related field, or relevant years of experience Three to five years of billing operations/processing experience; Telecom experience a plus Experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable a plus Proven track record in coordinating issues across multiple internal organizations Proven track record in successfully resolving customer issues Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong Microsoft Excel skills a MUST Experience with AT&T Business Direct, XO Business Center and Verizon Web Portal
