Associate-Youthbuild Technical Assistance

ICF International seeks a Technical Assistance Specialist to support ICF's client and associated program staff for the YouthBuild program, a national grant program designed to provide comprehensive education and employment services to out of school youth ages 16-21. This position is based on-site at the U.S. Department of Labor's Division of Youth Services in Washington, DC.

Successful candidates must possess excellent writing and communicating skills. The ideal candidate will be flexible, organized, pro-active, comfortable working independently and multi-tasking. The ideal candidate will have at least a bachelor's degree and at least two years of work experience, ideally with some prior exposure to key subject areas such as Federal grant administration, youth development, and low income populations. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, multiple task environment and work well under pressure of deadlines while maintaining a positive and friendly disposition is a must.

Duties and Responsibilities Researching, writing, and editing technical assistance products, including newsletters, fact sheets, presentations, and web contentResearching, outlining, and writing trainings, scripts, and other pieces for conferences, webinars, and conference calls Coordinating conference calls, meetings and conferences, including invitations, logistics, materials, and other tasks
Attending meetings and conferences (up to 25% travel) Coordinating and executing mailings to grantees and other key stakeholders. Performing administrative tasks including photocopying, collating and filing, as neededInterfacing via telephone with grantees, conducting ongoing needs assessments, and fulfilling materials requests and other requests for information and assistance Managing a technical assistance tracking database (MS Access) to continually monitor grantees' progress as technical assistance is requested and delivered
