Business Intelligence Analysts

Rick Deckelbaum & Associates is an Executive Search firm specializing in placing experienced professionals in many industries including: IT/IS, Engineering, Sales, etc.  We have recently partnered with a Defense contractor working on a Billion dollar project for the Air Force and we are seeking professionals with an active security clearance and technical experience with Enterprise Business Intelligence software.  We have many current openings for various levels and each position is expected to be 1-2 year long contract assignments with the opportunity to become a Full-Time employee with our client.

 

Technical Requirements: (in order of importance)

- Understanding of Business Intelligence methodology, multi-dimensional database, and performance management score cards

 

- The ideal candidate will have current knowledge and be certified in at least one of the existing BI tools (Cognos, Brio, Business Objects or Clarity)

 

- Understand business processes within DIA or any of the major COCOM’s (SOCOM, EUCOM, STRATCOM, CENTCOM, JFCOM, PACOM)

 

- Understanding of the analytical products generated by DIA or any of the major COCOM’s.

 

- 5-10 yrs experience working in a performance management arena with the capability of creating an Enterprise wide Business Intelligence and Performance Management application in a complex metadata structure.

 

- Understand the PA&E (Process Analysis and Evaluation)

 

 

Management & Past Performance:

- Capable of presenting a myriad of analytical views against the same data. 

 

- Ability to determine and present correct and meaningful measures and metrics to support the customer in achieving their departmental strategy.

 

-  Be politically adept and able to provide technical briefings in an ONI or NJIC type environment.

 

In this role, you will help manage the existing Business Intelligence solutions, improve the processes and performance of the use of current Business Intelligence tools, and implement new processes and dashboards.

 

Must have Active Security Clearance – TS/SCI

 

Location:  Bolling AFB or UFAC, Herndon, VA (possibility of up to 25% travel)
