Lead systems engineering, field services, customer service and contracting departments within Chemetron.

Oversee and manage the schedule requirements as they relate to engineered system contracts and projects.

Support customer activity for global base in US, Europe, Africa, Middle East and Asia.

Work with staff to develop and implement comprehensive project management and cost tracking processes.

Coordinate production schedules with Operations team for complex, custom designed fire protection systems.

Train and mentor high performing team for continued personal growth.

Manage team of field service technicians performing system installation, test and commissioning.

Meet with key customers to understand needs, coordinate activity and showcase business capabilities.

Support the General Manager in forecasting bookings, backlog, and revenue projections.

Prepare and maintain necessary reports for Chemetron and UTCFS management.

Identify and execute resolution of problems associated with successful project execution.

Monitor production and employee performance to ensure quality standards.

Exhibit superior ethics and safety standards in accordance with company policy.


Minimum of (5) years direct experience in a systems engineering environment, preferably in the fire protection industry.

Excellent communication skills, articulate, self motivated with a determination to succeed and a strong positive attitude.

Computer knowledge required: MS Office, Visio, and MS Project.

Solid understanding of pricing, cost and gross margin drivers.

Excellent time management skills and ability to balance competing priorities.

Must have experience demonstrating the ability to lead and influence a diverse group toward the identification and subsequent achievement of operations and company level strategic objectives.

Must have demonstrated experience and success in developing people and building talent in an organization.

Must have a track record of driving solutions to assigned tasks utilizing a proactive approach to problem solving.

BA/BS in engineering or related field required. An MBA or advanced degree is highly preferred.
