Compliance Officer

General Summary:

PROTECTS ALL TRIBAL ASSETS AND INSURE THE INTEGRITY OF THE GAMES. Monitors casino operations and revenues. Identifies deficiencies in the system of internal controls and recommends appropriate changes.

Essential Job Functions:Perform audits of the internal control systemsExamines, tests and inspects gaming equipment as required by the Gaming CommissionMaintain a professional appearance, conduct and impartiality in the performance of dutiesHandle highly confidential information and be bound by a Confidentiality Agreement.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledgeable in report writing Become knowledgeable in all card games played at Barona CasinoBecome knowledgeable in game protectionBecome knowledgeable of the Tribal-State Compact, Tribal Gaming Ordinance, BVR Casino Department Policies and Procedures and Minimum intrnal Control Standards

Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED necessary, college helpful but not requiredTwo years work experiecne with a regulatory agency or law enforcementInderstanding and knowledge of all classifications of GamingA combination of work experience requirement may be waved at the discretion of the Compliance Director or Executive Director of the Gaming Commission.
