Configuration Management Build Specialist

Modis IT is seeking a qualified Configuration Management Build Specialist for a 6-9 month contract to hire position in Rosslyn, VA.Responsibilities: -Create automated build and installation scripts -Maintain and update scripts -Manage scheduled software build/installation/certification -Provide CM Tool support -Provide support for Code merges -Provide support for and track CM metrics -Assist Objective 4, Configuration Management Senior Build Specialist as needed with all other CM related activities Leadership Expectations: -Understands expectations and manages own career. - Takes responsibility for obtaining and internalizing feedback. - When applicable, provides performance feedback to Analyst/Level F-E/Prog-Sr. Prog team members. - Helps ensure collaborative teaming work environment. - Understands and follows policies and account processes. - Understands and defines roles and responsibilities & how they contribute to the project and Portfolio to meet business requirements - Manages team to achieve defined objectives - Leverages the skills of others to meet defined business objectives. - Manages status; identifies and resolves issues when possible. - Builds on/updates career goals and manages career accordingly - Develops client relationships at the Managerial level. - Submits accurate and complete time and expense reports - Responsible for the financial results of the projects. - Supports sales efforts - Identifies business opportunities - Demonstrates strong business acumen Required Skills: -Unix -Linux -Perl -Unix Scripting -Development Processes -Version Control Desired Skills: -Linux, RHEL -Solaris -HP-UX -Oracle App Server -Mavin, Serena Version Manager, CVS, ANT -Software development experience Experience: 3-5+ years of CM & IT work experience Education: Bachelor's degree or 4 years of CM & IT work experience Please send resume and salary requirements to  Brenda.Mitchell@ModisIT.com     Company: Modis, Inc.
