CONSERVATION AGENT

 

Norwell (pop. 10,031, land area 21 square miles) is seeking qualified candidates for Conservation Agent to work for the Norwell Conservation Commission in administering the wetland laws and managing 2000 plus acres of conservation land. Supervises, directs and is responsible for administering day-to-day conservation activities. Candidates must have proven organizational, communication and writing skills. Bachelor’s Degree in environmental field. Must have experience in wetland delineation, and on-site inspections, with thorough knowledge of the Wetlands Protection Act and all facets of wetland regulation. Experience in land management, and public outreach programs are a plus. 37.5 hour Union position, Salary $46,294.50.
