Contract Management Manager - Dallas, TX

The Contract Management Manager manages a variety of government, international, and commercial contracts and subcontracts in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable laws, and customer requirements.  Provides on-site advice to business units and project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters.The Contract Manager may manage more than one engagement or, alternatively, be full-time on a single engagement (depending on the size/complexity of the agreement).



ResponsibilitiesResponds to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions Identifies risks and issues, suggests alternatives that lead to the best solution Reviews and manages contractual obligations of the parties and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met Prepares and disseminates information regarding contract status, compliance, modifications, etc. Manages daily workload of assigned Contract Management personnel and  project or business personnel assisting with the contract management function Acts as the primary contact between the project team and/or business unit and Legal ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly Acts as liaison to clients/vendors Responsible for informing the project team of the requirements of the contract and monitoring compliance Develops and integrates contract management tools, templates, methods and processes for the engagement

Job Requirements:  50% travel and ability to work 20% overtime.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:  Minimum 6 years of contract management experienceMinimum 3 years of contract negotiation and drafting skills with pre and post sales contracts within the Federal Government industryMinimum of a Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Skills/Experience/QualitiesMinimum 3 years experience working on Information Technology outsourcing projects/clients in a contract management roleComprehensive knowledge of general corporate business practices, government and commercial contracting regulations and principles, subcontracting practices, and accounting and finance principlesAbility to draw upon and utilize post-award hands-on contract management experience in daily administrative activitiesAbility to resolve contracts and pricing issuesAbility to advise and interact with all levels of managementAbility to demonstrate excellent analytical and mathematical skillsStrong written and oral communication skillsProficiency using Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Outlook Email, Instant MessagingProfessional Certification (CPCM)  and/or Contract Management Association (NCMA) membership a plus
