The assessor will perform the bulk of the examination at the assessment site in order to view physical and infrastructure security, fire-safety procedures, mechanical, water, electrical, fuel systems, telecom, IT systems and vulnerability to cyber attacks, as well as anti-terrorism programs, damage control and continuity of operations plans.Candidate must be proficient in using Microsoft Office and be able to prepare and conduct pre and post assessment briefings. Minimum of five years experience (10 years desired) in any one of the following areas: insurance investigation, fire inspection, safety inspection, law enforcement investigation, HAZMAT response/inspection, Nuclear Biological or Chemical (NBC) inspection, or military targeting. Knowledge of the U.S. chemical industry sector, and chemical manufacturing and chemical production facilities required. Understanding of the Department of Justice Chemical Facility Vulnerability Assessment Methodology and the American Chemistry Council (ACC), Responsible Care Security Code desired.
